GARDEN PLANS

BE PART OF THE CHAIN

“When we garden with native and naturalized wildflowers, we garden not only with Nature but also with history.”— Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Perhaps it is a subconscious understanding, but I am convinced that being around native plants in their natural setting, attracting the native wildlife that have evolved with the plants, makes people feel happier and healthier.

Individual, habitat-friendly gardens create a compounding effect, providing a collective benefit and connects to a larger system. Each garden strengthens the others, building habitat zones and connecting corridors within our neighborhoods.

By increasing the biodiversity of the species we plant, we increase the number of different species of mammals, birds, insects - plus all the microbiome of the soil - able to live together on our property.

To live in a balanced world that is still available for our children, and their children, where all our ecological systems are healthy, we need to learn how to share our space with as many different life forms as we can.

Bees, butterflies & moths are such tiny creatures, often no bigger than a thumb nail, that they can easily become isolated from each other and their populations start to shrink when their habitat shrinks until they no longer have enough of a population to survive. Corridors of pocket prairies connecting other pocket prairies allows for little pollinators to find enough pollen and nectar to thrive.

We invite you to join us in bringing Nature's beauty to your home and creating a joyful approach to daily living. Yes we all deserve to be wealthy and abundant but we can do this while also saving the Earth by appreciating the beauty in a sustainable life.

One of the best things you can do to help yourself, your family and nature is to grow your own food & create naturalistic habitat for other species

I call this: Ecological Edible Gardening

Sharing our piece of land with other animals and plants is exciting, nuturing and fun! When the chicadee calls a song to it's mate, the robin takes a bath in your pond or the butterflies flit around you, you feel the riches only Nature can bring

Let us help you achieve the nourishing lifestyle you've always dreamed of
